Brunch Atop San Francisco

Carnelian Room

Carnelian Room is located on the 52nd floor of the Bank Of America building in San Francisco’s financial district. Open for dinner, sunset cocktails, meetings and private dining, it is the Sunday champagne brunch that will be the focus of this review.

Floor to ceiling windows provide San Francisco’s highest restaurant the most amazing views of the bay as you can see from bridge to bridge. On clear days you can see the rolling hills of Napa Valley.

Enjoy Wolf Blass champagne and items from the beautiful appetizer buffet, which include choices of cheese, fruit, fish, breads, vegetables, and meats. You have a choice of main course, which features a daily egg dish. The food is prepared and presented just as you would expect from a fine dining establishment. Finish off your meal at the dessert table, where a server will cook you a bowl of Cherries Jubilee.
